Forgot it’s my BFF’s birthday tomorrow. Started baking and trying to make dinner at the same time. (Not a good idea.) It was suppose to be a large cupcake,but while baking the top part was done and the bottom still needed time. Finally got it out of the oven with the top a little too well done. the bottom cake was too soft and it started cracking . Managed to hold it together with the buttercream frosting, but then it was too big for the case and the case cracked in various places when i tried to put the cake it in :( ,so i took out the fondant and covered the bottom with it and did the top in buttercream rossetes. Then i wrapped it with the ribbon to hold it together. I’m just glad I still have a cake to give her tomorrow! :)
